Traditions of Death and Dying in Asia
Surveys traditions of death and dying in Asia through the critical analysis of various media, sites and events—such as scripture, statuary, contemplative art, funerary processions, afterlife theme parks, music and film. Draws on Hindu, Buddhist, Islamic and other traditions from across East, South and Southeast Asia.
