    Critical Indigenous Theory

    Introduces students to central theoretical concepts in the field of Indigenous Studies from a variety of Indigenous perspectives. Important disciplinary questions are explored, including colonialism, whiteness, sexuality and gender, sovereignty, self-determination, recognition, reconciliation, decolonization and resurgence. Focuses on Indigenous-centered philosophies and theories that are culturally innovative, relevant and transformative.
